New Jersey Father of 3 Attempts to Make $10,000 a Month Using Amazon Associate Program

Many have tried and failed at making a single dollar online. Some have made a little money and about 1% of the people become very successful. The Amazon Associate Program is open to almost anyone but using it to generate an income can be challenging.

For the most part, carving out a niche for yourself on the internet is highly possible. You just have to start and believe in what you are doing for any success to materialize. TicTok is making a killing, Facebook, Snapchat, Wayfair, and all the platforms you can think of.

Today, the internet is littered with dead dreams, sites, and broken promises but a few have stayed the course no matter how much failure and disappointment come upon them.

These individuals’ wills are so strong that people call them fools and crazy. They have lost thousands chasing a dream that seems out of reach but for them losing is part of the process. To win you must lose. A great number of lessons are gained during the losing stages.

For every shiny Gold you see and glittering Diamond, it went through something violent and hard to become what we see. So, losing is without a doubt part of the plan.

My name is Michael. I currently live in Orange, New Jersey and this is my Amazon Associate Program journey. Welcome!

What is The Amazon Associate Program Anyway?

Photo by Christian Wiediger on Unsplash

The Amazon Associate Program is an independent contractor program where individuals sign up and if accepted get the privilege to promote products on the amazon marketplace.

The program is currently open to 18 countries and growing. To get accepted into the program you must first, live in one of the participating countries, second, have a website you own with content. You must accept and not violate their associate program policy. If you do, your account will be cancelled.

Participants are paid for each qualifying commission generated through banner ads, search engine optimization, Pay Per Click, social media or through a medium accepted by the policy.

The more traffic source the more an associate can expect to make. It’s not necessary to use all because nobody is an expert at all. For the most part, only one traffic source will do the trick.

How Do You Plan to Make 10,000 a Month Using The Amazon Associate Program and Buy Bitcoin with Some of my Earnings?

I thought this through for some time and put it into action. I know what failure is and how to fail. With all that I have learned, I believe this is one of the best paths to take in 2021.

My goal is to make $10,000 a month using a series of niche specific websites. These sites, if successful, should generate $1,000 a month profit. If everything goes well, then there goes my $10,000 a month. It is a tall order but doable and the stage is set to accomplish the plan.

For every person that reads this article and visits one of the sites and makes a single purchase the goal will be reached on purchase time. Will you help me reach my goal?

All My Sites Got Hacked by Mean and Heartless People

I did not want to leave this part out because it almost made me give up.

One night while talking to my developer he asked me about my site and why it was redirecting to spam sites laden with ads. I was like, what are you talking about?’

Photo by Yogendra Singh on Unsplash

I quickly loaded up the site he mentioned and noticed that in fact the site was redirecting to spam sites on my smart phone but not on my desktop. I reached out to the website hosting company to check and to my shock they didn’t notice anything.

They told me all was ok. But, all was not ok. I had a few sites on one hosting plan and it turns out that all the sites on this hosting plan were infected with malware.

I could not believe it because this same issue cost me an entire account a few years ago. It was too costly to keep the account and I wasn’t making that much money from those websites. The culprit was demanding $850 in bitcoin to get my sites back. I didn’t have it at the time!

I began to sweat profusely and I became very angry. The account was also just upgraded from paying $89 to $120 a month on website hosting. How could this have happened to me again!

I was far from angry by now but I wasn’t going to make them win again. This was a make or break moment and I decided to fight back.

I went to my trusted freelancing source again, Fiverr, and found a guy who has years of experience dealing with WordPress websites that got hacked. He assured me that he can remove the infection from my website. I hired him after reading most of his thousands of reviews and within minutes he began working on 1 of 4 sites. There were 10 sites in total that were infected with Malware.

After two days, he sent me back the results and the cleaned sites. I was happy and felt relieved. It turned out that hackers got access through a plugin. There was a volubility in one of them and we didn’t know it. I learned from this experience. To make sure my sites are secure all plugins are kept up to date and site security is installed.

Today, a lot of WordPress websites are running WordFence and other premium security to keep those who have bad intentions towards the sites. If you have a WordPress website, make sure all your plugins are up to date and you have some form of security installed.

The websites featured in this article are the same sites they tried to destroy.

These are The Websites I Have Created to Make $10,000 a Month Online in 2021–2022

First off, I did not create the sites by myself. I hired an expert to help me over on Fiverr to build them. The most important parts of the site’s creation are the niche selection, keywords, category, and site overall structure. The rest is left to the web designer or theme editor.

My site software of choice is WordPress and each theme I used were varied by choice of niche and color scheme. But overall, all of the websites are built on the WordPress open source platform.

One of the most important part of getting this right is to find someone you can trust. When you find that person, treat them well and they will take care of your ideas, sites, and keep your niche private.

I Have Failed More Than I Count to Meet My $10,000 a Month Goal But This Time I Believe I am Going to Achieve It.

Photo by the blowup on Unsplash

I have failed more than I can count but the failures I faced over the years are a setup closer for my success! No matter what you’re currently doing there are going to be some failures along the way.

My first ever idea or website to promote amazon products was shopnowshoplater.com The site was initially designed as a fashioned website. It has access to almost every category on Amazon. It was built using the API option. You can just about find anything you can think of on the website. Simply enter a keyword on its homepage using the search feature.

Wayback Machine or archive.org has kept an archive of what the site looked like when it was first created. I loved it at the time but felt it wasn’t giving the opportunity to showcase all that it had to offer.

I got the idea to create an email reminder form on the site where you could sign up and get reminded of product changes or the date you would like to buy the product.

This would work when someone uses the Shop Now Shop Later feature on a particular product they wanted to buy later. Once you found the product, simply enter your name and email address, dates and hit submit.

You would get an email reminder on that specific date. The link in the email would take you back to the site product page to make the purchase that day or see if the price dropped.

The idea was good but nobody used it and the digital asset failed to turn a profit. It cost me more money than you can imagine. It has been updated over and over again but I haven’t made a profit from shop now shop later. I do hope someday I will.

These next set of websites are niche specific. They were created to focus on a specific set of products. Amazon has millions of products and it makes it much easier to target a particular category.

It may come across as easy from my perspective but I do understand that it is really not so for the average person, like a beginner, looking to start their first affiliate store. It can go wrong quickly and another failed attempt recorded.

These are The Websites: Number One of Ten to My $10,000 a Month Goal Using The Amazon Associate Program

1.TVStandPros.com was the first created using the Amazon associate program. It was built to provide individuals with a place specific to and dealing with tv stands and nothing more. All the categories and different types of tv stands were added and later we decided to add TV’s, HDMI cables.

Within a few weeks, the site began to get traffic. I set up tracking to see how many visitors and clicks across pages. It was doing great until it got dropped from the search ranking.

Up to this very day, I don not know why this happened. I am hopeful that it shall return. The goal for this site is $1000 a month.

2. KuKurbi.com: This website is all about pet dogs. The goal was to focus squarely on dogs and everything they need. It was a labor of love and I enjoyed getting the categories together. My ultimate goal is to develop this site into a brand with its own branded dog products. The goal for this site is $1000 a month.

3. LocsStyle.com: Locs Style is all about faux locs, hair, weaves, extensions, and dreads. I was intrigued by the hair profitability index and how much is spent on a daily basis for great natural and natural looking hair. I wanted to get a piece of the action and to create a website site that offers many types of crochet faux locs, hair extensions, weaves and dreads.

Photo by Clarissa Carbungco on Unsplash

On Locs Style shop page, you can also find hair care as well as creams and lotions for weaves in many styles and textures. The goal for this website is $1000 a month.

4. UnClutter.shop: Unclutter came about after seeing my home office in a mess. It dawned on me about building a site that focuses on storage items. These products would give the user the ability to keep their surroundings neat and tidy.

The niche focus was specific and narrow. I targeted the home, home office, living room, bathroom, kitchen, outdoor patio, garage, under the bed, under the kitchen sink, on top of the kitchen, inside the refrigerator, robot vacuum, regular vacuums, and many more. I encourage you to check out Unclutter.shop. The goal for this website is $1,000.00 a month.

5. HolidayBounty.com: This is a holiday website. I tried to represent the top three holidays. It features holiday items from Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa. I love the holidays and without a Christmas tree it’s not really Christmas. Last year my daughter wanted a real tree and we got one for the first time. The house had a beautiful aroma and we are now hooked to real Christmas trees.

Photo by Lynda Hinton on Unsplash

For this reason, many artificial Christmas trees are for sale on holidaybounty.com. You’ll be able to shop for Christmas trees by size, color, collapsible, non-collapsible and design. You can even find a Halloween themed Christmas tree. The goal for this site is $1000 a month.

6. SafetyShoesBoots.com: Safety boots and shoes are a must if you work construction or work with heavy equipment. These types of safety footwear protect your foot from getting damaged or even losing your toes. For this reason, safety boots and shoes were built.

Photo by Sven Brandsma on Unsplash

On this website, you’ll have access 100’s of safety boots and shoes from top brands in the market space.

The site features steel toe, alloy toe and composite toe work boots and shoes as well as safety sneakers for both men and women.

The site offers brands such as Timberland PRO’s, Ariat safety boots and shoes, lightweight safety boots, Keen safety toe boots, Danner safety boots, cowboy and cowgirl safety and non-safety boots.

The goal for this site is $1000 a month.

7. ElectricScooterAndBikes.com: Electric scooter and bikes is all about e bikes and scooters. The site features, one wheeled, two wheeled and three wheeled four wheeled electric scooters as well as mobility 4 wheeled scooters.

Photo by Martin Katler on Unsplash

You can also find non-electric scooters for girls and boys in pink and blues as well as some purple.

E-scooters are popular around Jersey City in New Jersey and this is where the idea came from creating this site. Prices of scooters and bikes range from $20-$2000.

Do you need a scooter or bike? Check out my scooter shop page for all your scooter and bike needs. The goal for this site is $1000 a month.

8. IdealProBiotics.com: My doctor is a health nut and probiotics is something he always talks about. I’ve learned how important probiotics are for the body and I decided to make this site targeting all kinds of probiotics for men, women, teens, children, adults in general.

Ideal Probiotics offers a one stop shop for all your Probiotics needs. Currently Ideal Probiotics is not getting any love from search engines yet but I’m worried because it will rank soon. This niche is not easy to get ranked in but I am hopeful that it will get some traffic soon. The goal for this is site; $1000 a month. Can it make it?

9. iDooCoffee.com: Why a coffee site when it’s super difficult to get any type of search engine rankings in this space? I really don’t know. All I know is that I love coffee and where there is buyer traffic there’s money to be made.

Photo by Nathan Dumlao on Unsplash

I do not plan to use paid traffic to this site. I will slowly let the digital asset climb the rankings in Google and Bing to get us closer to the $1000 a month goal.

Will that happen any time soon, probably not but the right categories are there. My idea of listing coffee by their country of origin or brand should get it recognized. It’s not anything new but this angle or unique selling point should get me some traffic.

The website also features espresso machines, coffee machines, K-cups, ground and unique blend coffee as well as green coffee, Starbucks coffee, coffee drinks, Kope coffee, keto coffee, gifts for coffee lovers and much more.

10. Shopnowshoplater.com: I mentioned at the top of the article. First but last in sales, it is what we call a general store because it offers everything. It has a non-specific focus or targeted niche. The reason it was built this way was one, it was my first project, and two I wanted everything too fast.

Photo by Brooke Cagle on Unsplash

And one other reason was to gain access to as many products in amazon’s inventory using their API method which stands for “Application Programming Interface”. Amazon still offers the API but it is limited and you have to meet certain criteria.

Back then, it was easier and a common practice to build sites this way. Most people would say the site is ugly but the majority find it easy to use and simple. The goal of the site is to give each user access to as thousands of products in most of Amazons allowed category.

Has it paid for itself yet? No! Not even close. I am hoping that one day it will because it has a lot to offer and instant access to millions of products right now. The goal for this site is $1000 a month. Will it make it?

These are my 10 websites that are currently set to generate $10,000 dollars a month combined using the Amazon Associate program.

To accomplish this goal I need all the help I can get. All it takes is one person at a time to visit the sites. Let me know how you feel about them or each product you come across. Your actions will get me one step closer to the goal I’ve set. I appreciate your help and support.
